“With good will for the entire cosmos, cultivate a limitless heart;
Above, below, and all around,
Unobstructed, without animosity or ill-will.”
- Karaniya Metta Sutta, original Buddhist text on the virtue of loving kindness
Compassion makes everything right. In today’s troubled and turbulent world, it’s one state that helps us to understand and express our common humanity. To be compassionate is more than to just feel sympathy or show concern. To be compassionate is to truly feel deeply about another the feelings of a person as they experience the ups and downs that come along with us through life.
This is a critical time when love and compassion need to be available and expressed. By awakening to our own love and compassion we are helping the collective in this time of transition. In these circles we will connect deeply with our hearts and raise our vibration of unconditional love and compassion for ourselves and others.
In the blessed sanctuary of Akasha’s Den, Halina will guide you through the meditative, healing and transformative journey. We will start with an awareness of the breath meditation, Anapana-sati, then follow up with a Compassionate Body Scan, a Loving Kindness meditation, Metta, and other equally soul-nourishing meditations as the evening organically unfolds.
We will also chant mantras which on the metaphysical level contribute to opening of our heart. When the heart is open we feel relaxed and at peace with ourselves. Certain sounds create specific responses in the body. It has been scientifically demonstrated that mantras instill a sense of well-being and are vibrant forces for healing.
Participation in a compassion meditation circle will awaken and deepen your spiritual growth and increase love and compassion for self and others. When you practice opening your hearts to greater love and compassion you experience wonderful benefits as you open yourself to its healing power.
When your are in touch with your heart and soul you will discover the magic of love and compassion in your life.
Join Halina for a relaxing, soulful circle of meditation, love, compassion, chanting, soothing music, and sharing.
