What Are Oracle Cards and How Do They Work?

The art of divination with oracle cards is a centuries old, time-honoured tradition. Oracle cards are a vehicle through which anyone can ask questions and receive insights from the greater field of knowing. Their messages may be literal or figurative, and they will always be in vibrational alignment with the person seeking insight.

Oracle cards do not dictate our futures. That is up to us. Rather, they mirror the energies surrounding the issue in question at the time of asking. The guidance they provide can reflect when you are on the path that is in your greatest interest or when it may be time to course-correct. They can broaden your understanding of a situation or relationship by offering additional perspectives that you may not have considered.  They open a conversation with both the universe and the deeper wisdom that resides within all of us.

In This Oracle Card Reading Workshop, You Will Learn How To:

• Prepare yourself and your cards to conduct a clear reading.
• Frame questions so the cards can most accurately reflect the essence of your inquiries.
• Select cards from the deck in ways that resonate most strongly with you.
• Interpret the oracle cards' concrete and symbolic languages that speak to us with individualized messages communicated in words, images, colours, and numbers.
• Tap into and incorporate your four primary clairs: clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairaudience (clear hearing), clairsentience (clear feeling), and claircognizance (clear knowing) to enhance the cards' guidance.
• Deliver a full reading - starting with a single card draw and working up to a 3-card spread.
• Move past common blockages people experience when offering readings for others.

Whether you are experienced in working with oracle decks and angel cards or you have not yet tried them but are curious as to how to unleash their power, this course will help you recognize your own innate ability to commune with Spirit.

What Oracle Decks Will We Use? 

We will begin our workshop with all of us using the same oracle card deck, Wisdom of the Oracle. Buffy will provide a deck for each participant's use. As the day progresses, you are welcome to incorporate your own personal oracle and angel card decks into readings. If you don't have your own cards, Buffy will also provide a wide variety of decks with which you can hone your card reading skills.

Class Size

Space is limited to 12 participants. This gives us the opportunity to work individually, in pairs, in small groups, and as a full class. It also allows time for lots of questions, discussion, and 1:1 assistance with the facilitator.
