Dana Green has studied, taught, and personally practiced all aspects of wholistic health and natural medicine for over 20 years. In 2001, following her undergraduate degree in the foundations of anatomy and physiology at Wilfred Laurier University, Dana graduated from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine where she received an in-depth education in classical homeopathy.
While running her own successful family practice in Oakville for seven years, advising entire families, (including pets), on natural medicines and homeopathic approaches, an additional opportunity arose to work with Martin & Pleasance, one of the world's original homeopathic companies. Dana's passion for homeopathy began early in her practice after witnessing a bone spur healed by the use of a tissue salt called Calc Fluor taken over a 3-month period. Working additionally with M&P enabled Dana to share her expertise in Schuessler Tissue Salts, homeopathics, and herbals with a broader audience.
Keen to broaden her diagnostic abilities and use of essential minerals in supporting her clients’ wellbeing, Dana completed her Practitioner Level 2 in Facial Diagnostics of Tissue (Cell) Salt Deficiencies in 2008, hosted by the Biochemic Institute.
Dana spent the next 10 years presenting training and education seminars to her clients, health food store staff, health care practitioners. As National Manager and Educator for M&P, she also created original training materials, co-authored the updated Schuessler Tissue Salts Guide - Essential Minerals for Good Health and, in partnership with health food stores across Canada, ran facial diagnostic clinics that included essential mineral consultations. As well, she continues to deepen her knowledge of natural supplements and nutrition, complementing her allopathic training from university and her homeopathic training from college.
Dana's ability to read facial features, body types, and skin conditions enables her to provide uniquely personalized protocols that can significantly improve the client's overall state of well-being. She continues to be inspired by the many fascinating roles minerals and crystals play in our lives, whether for people, plants, or animals. And having been a member of the Den staff for many years, Dana is also exceptionally gifted in providing recommendations for the safe and effective use of essential oils and blends; herbal teas; Sea Flora skin care products and bath soaks; and services that extend your options for returning to an optimal state of balance.
