"If you have it...GIVE IT. If you know it...TEACH IT." ~ Grace Wileichuk-Smith

After receiving her diploma in Photographic Arts from Sheridan College, Grace worked for 20 years in a professional photography studio, the first female photographer to be hired in a professional studio on a full-time basis. She has since built a diverse portfolio including opening her own photography studio and gaining extensive experience in commercial work. As a photographer for John Deere International, she travelled for 12 years across North America, shooting machinery on location for their marketing and communications division. She also worked with TD Canada Trust managing a team of event photographers across Canada, the Cayman Islands, Bahamas and Mexico. Her portfolio further includes food photography with experience shooting for the Rain Forest Café, Planet Hollywood and Hershey Chocolates. In addition, Grace was one of Niagara’s leading ariel photographers and has photographed hundreds of weddings and portraits across the Niagara Region and beyond.

Grace’s brings her passion for photography to the classroom, teaching bourgeoning photographers in the Digital Photography program at Niagara College, yet her passion for photography continues to extend beyond the classroom. She is the monthly cover photographer for Homes & Land magazine and is heavily involved in Architecture photography with local architects and builders. Recently, Grace travelled to Vietnam and Thailand to extend her portfolio into zen street photography. Her photographs from this trip are currently being published into a book to showcase these two beautiful countries as seen through her lens.

Through her artistry, combined with her love of capturing personality and character, Grace creates memories for people through pictures.
