In all that you experience and purchase at the Den, we strive to help people feel confident in their choices. We are here to offer guidance and instruction if requested, but we want you to select things that resonate with you when the time is right for you. We do not encourage anyone to give away their power to any fear-based myth, object, practice, or person. Rather, our intention is to inspire people to trust—and deepen—their intuition; to find balance; to learn and explore safely; and to make informed decisions that come from love. Allow into your life only that which is your highest interest; offer to others only that which is in theirs.

We encourage following your own path and are here to support your spiritual growth in ways that resonate in the highest interest for each individual. We are not affiliated with any religion.

Because we tend to be drawn to what we need at any given point in time, we like people to look at the crystals and feel which ones attract them. Remember, too, that everyone’s energy is different and changing. What is ideal for one person may not be ideal for you, and the crystals that draw you at one point, may be different at another point in time.

If you’d like to learn more about crystals and their properties, try looking online for websites, such as Healing Crystals for You.

Crystals have been used for healing throughout time.  Working through vibration and resonance, they are said to help realign subtle energies, creating ease and flow on many levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

Smudging is a respectful ceremonial cleansing of a person, environment, or object of any unintended energy.  It is also used to bless and energize.  Smudging is a common practice in many traditions, often used to open a celebration or ceremony, preparing for what is to come.

We carry a variety of materials for smudging: herbs such as sage, lavender, cedar, and juniper; natural incense; Palo Santo and cedar woods; sweet grass; mugwort, and pure resins. We also carry a liquid smudge called Pax Protection. Smudging tools include Abalone shells; smudge feathers; incense holders; resin burners…and more.

Perhaps one of the more well known ways to smudge is to place the smudging materials in a small vessel, like a bowl or seashell, to help catch the ashes. Once ignited, blow out any flame, so you’re left with only a column of smoke. Then waft the smoke with a feather or your hand, so it is easily and gently dispersed. There really isn’t an incorrect way to smudge.  What’s most important is the intention you hold while smudging, and that you follow your own personal guidance in how and where to guide the smoke. There are many websites that illustrate different techniques, or feel free to ask one of our staff.

We ask our clients for a price range, and we bring out those bowls to play.  If you’ve never worked with singing bowls, we will teach you.  When you hold the bowl and it begins to sing, its sound and vibration run through you emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Your breath and heart will open.  The ‘right’ bowl for you is the one with which you resonate, and when you do, there’s usually a recognition that shows in your eyes. We recommend you take your time.  If you don’t resonate with one now, we’re happy to call you when more singing bowls arrive at the Den.

Oracle cards are part of the ancient tradition of divination.  People tend to consult the cards when seeking insight about their lives—relationships, purpose, spiritual path, career, etc.

Responses from the cards can be literal and metaphorical, and messages are always in the reader’s highest interest at the time of the reading.  Pictures and messages on the cards help guide people to greater understanding of their own inner knowledge, coupled with greater access to universal knowledge or Spirit.

We carry a wide variety of Oracle, Angel, and Tarot cards, and we are always bringing in new decks. We have many demo decks you can sample before making your choice.

Their purpose is essentially the same: they’re helpful for anyone seeking answers and meaning. Perhaps the most obvious way in which they differ is that tarot follows a structure of traditional suits called major and minor arcana and the deck usually consists of 78 cards.  Oracle cards have pictures—often accompanied by written messages that elaborate on the card’s meaning—and interpretation guides. Angel cards, a type of oracle card, often contain written messages related to the qualities of the angel depicted in the artwork. Neither oracle nor angel cards is bound by any specific structure or number of cards per deck.
