The only constant in life is change.
Heraclitus ~ Greek Philosopher, 500 BCE
Q: What's changing in your life?
A: Everything.
Life's transitions are ongoing, they are a natural part of life, and they can challenge us to our very core. How well we navigate them, or how strongly we resist them, significantly shapes our ability to release the known and embrace the new and unknown. And, as The Serenity Prayer reminds us, there is wisdom in knowing the difference.
How Can NLC Help Me?
Navigating Life's Changes (NLC) is a personally customized service. That is, we will begin with whatever area of your life in which you'd like support to move forward. For some people the issue may be clear, such as getting more organized to better meet deadlines and expectations; or improving interview skills to increase opportunities in the workplace. Others may simply feel stuck, not yet sure of what's holding them back. Still others may sense there's something more to life than they're currently experiencing and desire assistance in crystalizing the vision and how to reach it. Regardless of where you find yourself and how specific or broad the question, we'll work together to find the most effective ways forward.
What changing areas of my life can we explore?
No topic is off-limits, but some recurring areas of change that draw people to NLC sessions are:
~ Align with your life purpose
~ Step (more fully) into a spiritual life and/or practice
~ Strengthen personal presentation skills: spoken, written, online/on-camera etc.
~ Come through loss
~ Integrate thinking, feeling, and intuition
~ Improve time management and organization skills
~ Shift outdated thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviours to those which serve you today
~ Replace unhealthy patterns and choices with life-affirming ones
~ Develop your gifts, talents, and dreams.
What can I expect in an NLC session?
This is individual to each person and organic to each session. Sessions may include discussion; healing modalities designed to remove blockages and further your life progress; and/or practical skill instruction and rehearsal.
How many sessions are required?
Again, it's individual to each person. The point you are within the change process and how deeply you'd like to work will help determine whether one session will meet your needs or whether a process of two or more sessions is better suited to your personal situation and learning style.
Note: If you prefer to work together in-session for longer than one hour, incremental timing and billing are available, based upon your specific needs. Please inquire about which options are best for you when you register.
How long before I can expect to see change in myself?
Change actually happens in an instant...the instant we choose to change. The length of time it takes to reach that moment of choice, however, is unique to each person and situation. "Nothing changes until I do." If you are open, willing, and ready to do the work, Buffy Knowlton will help facilitate your conscious creation of a more fulfilling future!

Reading to Complement the Conscious Creation of Your Future
Buffy co-authored Life Design Portefolio, a richly illustrated work that guides readers to actively engage in their own life stories by recollecting, reconnecting, and redesigning. It is an invitation to move away from preconceived definitions of self and move toward conscious recognition and choice. Buffy’s book, Life Design Portefolio, is available at Akasha’s Den.
